Title I

 The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a school-based group intended to represent the school, the community, and those persons closest to the students that shares responsibility for supporting the school’s continuous improvement. The SAC is responsible for final decision-making at the school relating to the annual implementation of a school improvement plan (SIP). The SAC assists in the annual preparation of both the SIP and the school's annual budget, as well as the evaluation of the SIP. Simply put, a SAC's job is to examine aspects of its school as suggested by the priorities and generate a School Improvement Plan (SIP) that addresses targeting the identified priorities and meeting the student performance standards.
