Bus transportation

COAST provides bus transportation as a service and is routed to serve our families in the best way possible. We currently have routes throughout Wakulla and south Leon county. Please have a backup plan for transportation to and from school on any given day when we are unable to provide bus service.

Our most current routes can be viewed below. If you have any questions concerning transportation please call the front office at 850-925-6344.

If you need to reach the school before or after regular school hours regarding a bus issue please call 925-6344 and select option 11. This line will be answered daily until all students are home.

Be at your bus stop 10 minutes early
Use extreme caution when loading the bus. The stop arm does not guarantee that traffic will stop and will not protect you from oncoming traffic.
Please be aware of the "DANGER ZONE" which is a 10 foot area around all four sides of the bus. These are blind spots for the driver and this is where most accidents occur. Be sure that the driver is aware of your approach to the bus.

Students must exhibit respect for the driver and fellow students 100% of the time!
For safety as well as bus cleanliness, no food or drinks are allowed on the bus.
There must be no physical contact among students at any time.
No loud voices or noises. The bus driver must be allowed to concentrate on safe driving.

Change in Transportation

Changes in afternoon transportation must be made in writing before 2:30 PM.

Students will NOT be allowed to leave the bus other than at their designated stop unless a note from that student's parent has been signed by the principal.
